Emily's Card

I can't believe my oldest daughter is going to be 11 on Saturday. Where has the time gone?

I made her a little beach scene card using the Forest Friends image from Mygrafico.  I usually print it twice so I can play with them.  I didn't this time and only printed one, so I just went with it.  I decided to use lots of colors, instead of traditional animal colors.

I went with a long, thin card in order to make room for all the critters.  I used the black gel pen on the eyes and Glossy Accents on their noses. I think she will be happy with it.

Winter Pup

I have been using my Copics so much lately that I haven't used any other mediums to color.  So I decided to pull out my Prismacolor pencils and some digi images and took them to the pool with the kids on Saturday.  I saved using the Gamsol till I got home.

Last year I got some really cute images from Meljen's Designs.  Here is the Cozy Winter Pup.

I used some really old paper from a 6x6 pad in my stash along with the My Favorite Things Cross Stitched Ovals Stax and Blueprints 13.

Monster Hugs

Today I made a card for my sister who had a fall two weeks ago.  She is still recovering and I wanted to send her a card to let her know I was thinking about her.  I had seen a card before and really liked the layout, but of course, I can't remember who posted it and can't find it pinned on my Pinterest board.  Any who, here's my card.

I used the Lawn Fawn Monster Hugs stamp set and the My Favorite Things Blueprints 20 to create my card.  I cut two of the window frame and glued them together before adhering them to my card front.

I marked the corners of the windows and stamped in the images inside each one.  I then colored them with Copics and added some details with a black gel pen, white gel pen, Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents.  I had some tiny googly eyes and couldn't resist.

Best Friends

I've been working on turning some more of my colored images from June's color challenge into cards.  Today I have an image from Tiddly Inks.  There are just so many cute images there.

I colored this cute dog and cat with Copics and used My Favorite Things Blueprints 1 to put my card together.  Super quick and easy.

I am entering this card in the Tiddly Inks Challenge.

Prickles

I've been busy making more cards out the images I colored in June. Today I have "Prickles".  I found him over at From the Heart Stamps.  He's just so cute I couldn't pass him up.  I colored Prickles with my Copics and used Glossy Accents on his glasses.

My papers are from the 6x6 Amy Tangerine Plus One paper pad by American Crafts.  I used various dies from the cross stitched rectangles, ovals, and circles by My Favorite Things, as well as the large stitched rectangles by Lawn Fawn.  I really like all the stitched dies that are available now.

Henry's Hazy Days

I finished another card with an image I colored during last month's 30 day coloring challenge held by The Daily Marker. I used another digi from Di's Digidownloads.  I love this little hedgehog.

I used some of the dies from My Favorite Things, Lawn Fawn, and Spellbinders to create my layout.  I used papers from the 6 by 6 Garden Party paper pad by Pebbles.  Can you tell yellow is one of my favorite colors?  Two cards in a row.

Bearable Friends

The 30 day coloring challenge is over, so now its time to turn all those colored images into cards.  I have gotten a few done.  Today I am sharing one that was a digital stamp I purchased from Di's Digidownloads. I really like her critters.

I made this a 5 1/4 square card.  I used the circles and scallops by Spellbinders to cut the image and the mat.  The papers are from the 6x6 Fine and Dandy paper pad from Echol Park Paper Company.
