Forest Friends

I have two daughters and both are in Girl Scouts.  I have made cards with each of their troops and it is always so much fun.  I have been asked by my oldest daughter's Junior troop if I could make Valentine cards with them this year.  I usually make about 80 different critters from the Create-A-Critter cartridge and have an assortment of bases and embellishments for them to use.

This year I have decided to throw in all the extra stamped images I have colored while practicing with my Copics.  I have quite a few.  I then came across these super cute Forest Friends digital stamps over at Mygrafico.com and had to have them.  They were just so cute that I wanted to play with them.  So that's what I did.  I printed them all out, cut with them different dies and had a great time coloring them.

I used all different colors just trying out different things.  I used Glossy Accents on their eyes. I hope the girls like them, mine said they did. I might try to make up one more set before we get together to make cards. Any excuse to color some more, lol.

Clyde

I'm back today with another Bugaboo image.  There are just so many cute images over there that  I could do a new one every day.

I used my Copics to color him and the background.  I also used my white gel pen to add a few details.  I wanted to go with a pretty simple layout, and used the Spellbinders Wonky Rectangles to cut the background piece and just adhered it to some black cardstock and then a tan card base.

Big Sweater Kid

Today I have a card I made using a digi from Meljen's Designs.  I used the image Big Sweater Kid.  Of course I colored him using my Copics. I used some papers from my scrap folder to finish the card.

I feel I make a lot of girly cards and was trying to go with more boy colors.

Valentine Ewe

I finally got my first Valentine's Day card made.  I used another image from Bugaboo Stamp.  I just love the sheep that Jodi has over there.

I colored him with my Copics and used some old papers I had bought last year.  I used some Glossy Accents on the hearts.  A very simple card, but  I am happy with it.

Dilbert Duck

I'm back again today with another Bugaboo image.  I told you I treated myself to a couple images during Jodi's December sale.  I picked up this adorable Dilbert Duck.  Isn't he just the cutest?  Plus, look he has a frog in his pail.

I used my Copics to color him, and some Glossy Accents and a white gel pen to add some little details.  The papers are from Lawn Fawn and my stash.  I am pretty happy with how it all turned out.

Edward

I'm back today with another image from Bugaboo Stamps.  I picked up a few images during Jodi's 50% sale in December.  Today I have Edward with his Hello sign.

I am really bad about picking an image and just coloring it however I feel, and then trying to find some matching paper. This time I actually picked my paper, a 6 x 6 paper pad called Front Porch by Pebbles, and then I picked my colors.  I went with the color grays this time.

Peaches with Present

It's been a week of elephants for me.  I spent New Year's day sewing a green polka dot elephant with my eight year old daughter on her new sewing machine. Saturday we went to paint pottery and I ended up painting an elephant.  Over the weekend I made two cards using the elephants (Peaches and Edward) from Bugaboo Stamps.  I love them both. Today I am sharing the card I created using Peaches with Present.  I think she is just so cute.

I colored her with my Copics using the warm grays.  I used my paper from my scraps and a sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.  I would like to enter this card into the January Anything Goes challenge over at Bugaboo Stamps.
