Lunch Box Notes

I love writing little notes on post-its for my kids' lunches, so when I saw these lunch box notes on Jennifer McGuire's Blog a couple weeks ago, I knew I had to make some myself.  I made up  a few so I would have them for the first couple months of school.

Simon Says Stamp - Lunch Box Notes

I used the Simon Says Stamp Lunch Box Notes dies, and stamps from the the Lunch Box Notes set, Birthday Farm Animals set, Hey Teacher set, You are Pawesome set, and Hero Arts Missing You set.  I can't wait to put them in their lunches next week.

Froggie Thoughts

I have had some extra time this week to myself and have put it to good use... coloring, making cards, and lunchbox notes. I will post the notes next week.

I found some really cute images at Tiddly Inks this week and got this super adorable frog image.  I just love frogs and had fun coloring him a couple different ways.  I made this one into a card.

More Copics

Hello.  Can you believe it's already time for the kids to get ready to go back to school.  We did some school supply shopping this week.  I love the crayons.  No surprise there, as much as I love to color.  I did a little more coloring with my Copics.  I found another Bugaboo digi stamp.  I just love all the cute critters that she has.  I colored four different ones but only ended up making two cards so far.

Inked backgrounds

I was on vacation last week and it was just wonderful.  But, I have been itching to spend some time at my craft desk, and finally made that happen last night.  I have watched so many videos on stencils and inks.  I decided to play with my stencils and new Tim Holtz mini blending tool and distress inks.  I had picked up a couple stencils awhile ago at Michaels, but hadn't used them yet.  I loved how they turned out.  I did four backgrounds and turned two of them into cards. Here they are.

The cards are very simple, but I didn't want to cover up all that inking I had done.

Peaches

Last week I picked up some digi stamps from Bugaboo Stamps.  They are having their Christmas in July sale and all stamps are 50%.  I got this adorable image called "Peaches with Balloons" and used my Copics and colored her two different ways.  I think I agree with Sydney and like the warm gray one better than the cool gray.  Either way, she was fun to color.

Farm Critters

I can't believe its already the end of July.  My oldest daughter's birthday is August 1st.  She is turning ten.  I found the cutest digi stamps to use for her card at Bugaboo Digi Stamps.  I love all the adorable stamps that are available there.  I got a couple others too that I will show later.

For her card, I actually took two images and made it into one scene. My daughter plays the game "Hay Day" and she got me playing it as well. So when I saw the "Fried Chicken" and "BACON in the Sun" I knew they would be prefect for her card.  I can't wait to give it to her.

Lil' Kitty

I've been enjoying the nice weather and working in my yard and not getting too much crafting done.  I did do a little coloring with my youngest daughter and made a card with my imagine.  We both colored the Little Miss Muffet stamp "Swings 'n Slides - Lil' Kitty".  I bought this stamp because it reminded me of my youngest daughter and her love of hats.
